2019-20 (Senior):
Appeared in four dual matches in the spring, as well as tournaments in the fall … Reached the semifinals at the Xavier invitational in both singles and doubles … Teamed up with Sam Marin to earn two doubles victories in fall exhibition matches against Jones County Junior College and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College … Named to the SSAC All-Academic Team.
2018-19 (Junior):
Played in 15 dual matches during his junior year … Tied for most matches played at the No. 1 position on the team … Won three of the final five doubles matches of the season alongside Sam Marin, including wins over NCAA DI Nicholls State and NAIA No. 8 William Carey … Went 2-0 with Tiger Cheung in doubles play in the fall, winning the XULA Invitational.
2017-18 (Sophomore):
Competed in 18 matches in his sophomore season … Named to the SSAC's All-Academic Team … Played most of his singles matches at the No. 1 position, often matching up against nationally ranked opponents … Posted an overall 7-10 record in singles, including a 3-1 stint at Louisiana's Battle on the Bayou, where he placed third in second-flight singles among a majority NCAA DI field … In doubles, the duo of Cabrales and Joseph Short went 8-5 at the No. 3 position, including a win over NAIA No. 13 Middle Georgia.
2016-17 (Freshman):
Played all but one of the team's 19 matches in his freshman campaign … Teamed up with Alexander DePascual for an 8-9 record in doubles play, mainly at the No. 3 position … Also ended the year winning seven of his last nine matches in doubles … Earned seven wins in singles play, playing most of his matches at the No. 2 spot.
