NEW ORLEANS – The Loyola Wolf Pack volleyball team won all six of their sets on Friday, sweeping their crosstown rivals, Dillard (La.) and SUNO (La.), in The Den at the Wolf Pack Welcome tournament. 
 

The Wolf Pack is back in The Den on Saturday for two more matches. They'll play SUNO again at 11 a.m. before ending the weekend with a matchup against Louisiana Christian at 2 p.m.
 

Game 1: Loyola 3, Dillard 0 (25-13, 25-22, 25-13)

Loyola got off to a good start, thanks to a couple of attacks from Alexa Palmer, 7-4. A quick 5-0 run made it a 10-5 lead, as two kills came from Caroline Beahm and one from Olivia Smith. After Mel Beachnau found the floor a couple of points later, Lola Blancher won five straight points off the service line to make it an 18-8 lead. Isis Harink collected two kills and two aces to help finish off the first set. 
 

Blancher, again, contributed at the service line, this time at the beginning of a set. She had an ace to give Loyola a 3-0 lead. The Pack won four straight points after Dillard got on the board, 7-1, as Palmer and Harink combined for a block during that stretch. Palmer and Caroline McKinney found the floor on back-to-back points, 9-3, but Dillard used a 9-4 run to get back into the set, 14-12. Beahm scored three straight points with two blocks and a kill, 17-12, to get momentum back on Loyola's side, but the Bleu Devils battled back again, 19-18. Three kills by Palmer gave the Wolf Pack the edge in the set, though. 
 

Harink, Beahm, Smith, McKinney and Beachnau all had kills in the early going of the third set, 12-5. Dillard didn't win a point on its serve until the score read 15-9, as all nine of those points came on side-outs. Blancher and Belén Puche Laguna both had aces after that as well, 19-11, and the Wolf Pack cruised to victory from there.  
 

Game 2: Loyola 3, SUNO 0 (25-11, 25-15, 25-16)

Loyola started the match with a 7-0 run thanks to a couple of kills by McKinney and an ace by Puche. Parker Sehlinger had an ace a couple of points later, and Harink found the floor on a serve as well, 15-4. Beachnau, Beahm, McKinney, Palmer, Harink and Clarissa Dupree all collected kills en route to the easy first-set win. 
 

The second set was much closer in the beginning. SUNO got the game tied at 1, 2, 3, 7, 8 and 9 before Loyola took the lead for good. Back-to-back attacks from Palmer and Beahm, followed by a setter dump from Ellie Connor, put the Pack up three, 12-9, then Harink had a couple of kills and Puche served another ace. Sehlinger and Harink added to their ace totals, too, and Dupree and Palmer each had two kills before McKinney finished the set with one. 
 

Beachnau and Dupree each racked up a couple more kills through the first seven points for the Wolf Pack in the third set, 7-2, then Beachnau quickly added her third of the game on the next won point, 8-3. SUNO got to within three a couple of times, but two attacks by Harink kept the Knights at-bay, 15-10. Again SUNO fought to get close, but again, Loyola pushed back with three kills from McKinney and a combined block from Harink and Beachnau, 24-15. Ava Labat entered the match as the team's third setter and recorded assists on all three of Loyola's final three points. 
 

Pack Facts

• Caroline McKinney had 10 digs in each of the two matches on Friday for a new season-high. She also added three blocks in Game 1. 

• Isis Harink had four aces in the first game and two more in the second to bring her team-high total to 16 in 22 sets played so far this season. Harink also had eight blocks in the two games, and she leads the team with 23 as well. 

• Loyola had multiple players record a hitting percentage better than .400 throughout the two games: Harink (.643, Game 2), Clarissa Dupree (.529, Game 2), Caroline Beahm (.500, Game 1), Alexa Palmer (.474, Game 1), and McKinney (.400, Game 2). 

• The first match of the day, Loyola held Dillard to a -.026 hitting percentage, which is the lowest an opponent as hit against Loyola since Life University (.078) on Nov. 8, 2025. 

• Harink's .643 hitting percentage was the best by a Loyola player (minimum 10 total attempts) since Alexa Palmer hit .625 on Oct. 11, 2025 against Faulkner. 

• Parker Sehlinger led the Pack in the nightcap with three of Loyola's seven service aces.
