Wolf Pack dance finishes 10th at NAIA National Championship

Loyola received a score of 79.61, its highest ever at nationals

TOPEKA, Kan. – The Loyola Wolf Pack finished the 2026 competitive dance season on Saturday at the NAIA National Championship. Loyola was one of 12 teams competing over the weekend at the Stormont Vail Events Center, with the preliminary round taking place Friday night before the finals on Saturday. This was the Pack's seventh time qualifying for the national championship. 

 

Loyola finished 10th among 12 teams, marking the team's highest finish in the national championship outside of 2021, when only eight teams competed. 

 

The Wolf Pack started the weekend with a 78.95 score in the preliminary round, then followed it up with a 79.61 in the finals. It was the highest final score recorded by the Pack in five appearances at the national competition, beating out the previous best of 77.09 in 2023. 

 

St. Ambrose (Iowa) won the national championship for the fifth time.
