KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After garnering no recognition in the previous NAIA Men's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 poll, the Loyola Wolf Pack men's basketball team is back to receiving votes in Wednesday's NAIA Top 25. The Pack's 11 points in the poll are their most since 2023.

The Wolf Pack men's team is 15-5 overall this season and 7-3 in a tough Southern States Athletic Conference. The three conference losses have all been in games decided by two possessions or fewer.

Loyola is one of two teams in the SSAC to receive votes in the national poll, joining No. 19-ranked William Carey.

Two-time SSAC Offensive Player of the Week Kameron Johnson currently ranks third in the NAIA in assists, averaging 6.8 assists per game. He also is averaging 17.8 points per game, which is the second-highest average in the SSAC.

Loyola has five players averaging double figures in scoring this season, including Johnson (17.8), Zachary Lee (14.2), Leonard Jackson (12.2), Kosta Bjelicic (11.6), and Eain Mowat (10.4). Lee continues to lead the team in rebounding average (6.8), followed closely by Bjelicic (6.6) and Cameron Williams (5.7), with Johnson and Jaylen Peters each averaging right under five boards per contest.

The Pack will head to Georgia this week for two road contests against some of the top teams in the SSAC East division. First, a matchup with Dalton State on Thursday at 6 p.m. EST, followed by a game against Life on Saturday at 1 p.m. EST.
