BRADENTON, Fla. – The Loyola University New Orleans volleyball team opened its road trip with a four-set loss to New College of Florida on Thursday. The Wolf Pack will make the short drive to Florida College on Friday to take part in its two-day Labor Day Classic.

NCF claimed the opening set 25-20 after a tight battle early. The Wolf Pack answered emphatically in Set 2, scoring the first 13 points behind the serving of Belén Puche Laguna and strong attacks from Alexa Palmer, Clarissa Dupree, and Tyler Alcorn. Loyola cruised to a 25-15 win to even the match.

The third set swung back toward New College of Florida, as the Pack committed six attack errors and the Mighty Banyans capitalized to win 25-17. The fourth set was a thriller, featuring multiple ties and lead changes, but a late push by NCF secured the match 25-22.
