The Wolf Pack opened strong in the first set, building a 15-4 lead behind 10 total kills from Zoe Barnes, Peixe, Harink, Guillotte, Palmer and Hollingsworth. Connor also served an ace to end that stretch before Goshen won nine of the next 11 points to make it a 17-13 Wolf Pack lead. The Maple Leafs continued to rally, cutting the score to 22-21, but a couple of attack errors by the opposition and a Palmer kill helped give Loyola a 1-0 lead in the match. Â
