KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Loyola University New Orleans baseball team wrapped up a historic season last week, and it got more notable on Wednesday with the NAIA's postseason Top 25 Ratings release. The Wolf Pack ended the 2025 campaign as the No. 7-ranked team nationally, marking the best position in the Top 25 in the program's history.

The previous best for the program was a No. 8 ranking in 2021, and that's the only other time the Wolf Pack has been in the NAIA Top 10. Loyola has now appeared in 11 straight Top 25s, and 25 of the last 35 under head coach Jeremy Kennedy.

Loyola set a program record with 42 wins this season, also setting new program-best marks in hits (597) and runs (516). The team also won the SSAC Championship and earned a berth to the NAIA World Series, both firsts for the program.

The Wolf Pack went on a tear after the last Top 25 Rating was released on April 16, when the team was ranked No. 13. The Pack went 12-6 down the stretch, which included series wins over No. 12 Faulkner and No. 9 William Carey, the SSAC Championship, the NAIA National Championship Opening Round, and the NAIA World Series.
