Competitive cheer participates in first meet

NEW ORLEANS – The Loyola Wolf Pack competitive cheer team competed in their first meet of the season on Saturday, taking on Dillard University in two separate duals. The Pack took two wins on the day, and they're next scheduled to be in Mobile this weekend for another round of competitions. 

The Wolf Pack started the day by scoring a 73.9 to Dillard's 63.25, then both teams improved their score in the next dual with Loyola winning 74.25-66.25. Both judges scored Loyola's choreography an eight or better, on a scale of one to 10, in both duals, too. 

Loyola had 10 members of the cheer team compete on Saturday, as Ana LeBlanc, Gabbi Kliebert, Andrew Baldwin, Aryanne Sonnier, Caylon Mike, Dasia Trepagnier, Imani McGowan, Mynthia Gonkpala, Makayla Frommelt and TaLaija Allen all represented the Pack.
