Box Score

The 12th-ranked Wolf Pack baseball dropped a Top 25 matchup at LSU Shreveport Monday

SHREVEPORT, La. – The No. 12 Loyola Wolf Pack ended their three games in Shreveport with a loss Monday, dropping their only game of the weekend against No. 10 LSU Shreveport, 12-3. Loyola won two against IU Kokomo on Sunday to end the weekend 2-1 and 5-2 overall.

Trailing 8-0, Payton Alexander notched his first home run of the season, making it an 8-2 ballgame with Jake Mills on base with a single in the prior at-bat. The Pilots, however, added to their lead in the bottom half of the sixth and eighth innings to earn the win.

The Pack will head back to North Louisiana this weekend to take part in the Cajun Collision tournament in Sterlington, Louisiana. Loyola will play No. 14 Science and Arts of Oklahoma and Tabor College at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., respectively, on Friday, then it'll play No. 4 Southeastern (Florida) and Jarvis Christian at the same times on Saturday.
