The Wolf Pack end the 2019 campaign with a 21-33 record
HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Loyola University New Orleans baseball season came to an end Saturday afternoon, as the Pack fell to William Carey 10-0 at Milton Wheeler Field.
While the Wolf Pack (21-33, 3-24 SSAC) were able to keep the Crusaders (23-24, 15-11 SSAC) out of the run column for the first two innings, the home team eventually plated three in the third inning, and two more in the fourth. After falling behind by six through five innings, Loyola surrendered four more runs to William Carey, setting the final tally at 10-0 in favor of the home team.
Pack Facts
Loyola finished the season with 440 hits, their most since 2013.
After going 1-2 at the plate today, Michael Toscano ends his sophomore season with a team-best .368 batting average.
Nathan Law went 2-3, raising his 2019 average to .316, a career-high for the junior who is now batting .284 in his career with the Pack.
Senior Charlie Seiter took the leadoff spot in today's game and went 2-4, ending his Loyola career with a .261 average.
Brandon Wilson Jr. was stellar at shortstop this weekend, and ends the 2019 season with a team-best 123 assists.
