In their final series of the regular season, the Wolf Pack fall in the first game 13-3
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - In game one of three at Stillman College this weekend, the Loyola University New Orleans baseball team fell 13-3 Friday afternoon at Tiger Park.
The Wolf Pack (22-29) scored first in the top of the first inning plating one run. The Tigers (17-19) however, took the lead in the second, scoring three before Loyola was able to tie it 3-3 in the top of the third.
The Pack were unable to score again, as Stillman brought in ten more runs, making a 13-3 final in a seven-inning game.
The Pack will finish their series with Stillman tomorrow afternoon, with a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.

"We swung the bats well early, but their starter settled in mid-way through the game and did a good job of keeping us off balance. Obviously we gave up a couple of big inning and didn't pitch real well."
"Jason had good stuff and he was locating it pretty well, but sometimes that happens, they hit good pitches and hit them hard. It was a rough day for him but the important thing is that he got some work in and will be ready to start in the conference tournament next week."
"Wyatt made pretty good pitches as well, but they swung the bats well today and we just couldn't stop it. Like I told the guys after the game, it was only game one of the series and we have to come back tomorrow and try and win game two, then go from there."

Zachary Cook went 2-4 with a run scored today and has registered a hit in 14 of the last 15 games, including six multi-hit games.
During the last 15 games for the Loyola, Cook is batting .382 (21/55) with 14 runs scored, two doubles, a home run, five RBI, and five stolen bases.
Payton Alexander, who went 2-4 today, has registered a hit in eight of his last nine games played and has scored six runs and batted in 10.
Allen Dennis collected one RBI today, and now has a team-leading 32 on the season.
