In match two of the day Loyola took on NCAA Division-III member Millsaps College. While the Pack took an early lead 12-5, the Majors (10-15) would climb back and win a close first set 26-24. The visiting team would go on to claim the next two sets by scores of 25-19 and 25-18, taking the 3-0 win.
Next up the Pack will host Brewton-Parker Monday, October 29th for a makeup match at 7:30 p.m. in The Den.
"We had the first match in our hands and we just let it slip away. We made errors at very bad moments and missed out on opportunities to win. I think we were tired in our match against Millsaps and even though we had control of the first set, we got stuck in our weakest rotation and just couldn't get it done."
