(New Orleans, La.) Loyola University New Orleans volleyball fell to the College of Coastal Georgia Mariners (12-1, 3-0 SSAC) tonight in three sets 22-25, 13-25, 14-25.
Senior Eva Allen led the Wolf Pack on offense with 7 kills, while freshman Mycah Boland added four on a .600 hitting percentage. Senior Breanna Stevenson and freshman Mycah Boland drove the defensive effort with 4 digs each. Freshman setter Maddie Huekels aided the offense with 8 assists on the night.
Freshmen Kyra White and Regan Coughlin led the Mariners offensively with 7 kills apiece on a .417 and .357 hitting percentage, respectively. Junior Alyssa Keeve and Coughlin each finished the match with 5 digs, while sophomore setter Cayley Meiners finished the night with 21 assists.
The Pack (5-8, 1-2 SSAC) will resume action tomorrow, September 19 at 11:00 a.m. in Mt. Vernon, Ga. as they take on conference foe Brewton-Parker College.
