(New Orleans, La.) Loyola University New Orleans volleyball defeated Fisk University (4-11) in three sets tonight 25-21, 25-23, 25-20.
Sophomore Wren Overesch led the Pack's offensive effort with nine kills, while senior Lauren Brand and junior Eva Allen contributed eight and seven, respectively. Sophomore setter Daniela Leal aided the offense with 32 assists. Senior Becca Burnett drove the defense, tallying 15 digs, and Leal added 13.
Freshman Kennedi Hulittle led the Bulldogs on offense with 12 kills. Fellow freshman Alexis Emanuel compiled 13 digs, and junior setter Jade Rhone added 23 assists on the night.
The Wolf Pack (4-8) will resume play tomorrow, September 19 at 7 p.m. in The Den against conference foe Dalton State College.
