(New Orleans, La.) Loyola University New Orleans volleyball fell in three sets to the University of Mobile Rams (11-1, 4-1 SSAC) tonight 25-15, 25-23, 25-14.
Junior Eva Allen led the Pack on offense with nine kills, and senior Lauren Brand added eight. Sophomore Katie Philippi drove the defensive effort, tallying eight digs, and senior Becca Burnett contributed seven. Sophomore setter Daniela Leal aided the Pack's offense with 26 assists on the night.
Junior Bailey Nations led the Rams' offense with 14 kills and a .500 hitting percentage. Senior Katy McCollister compiled 10 digs, and junior setter Taylor Harper topped the assist category with 21.
The Wolf Pack (3-8, 1-4 SSAC) resume action this Thursday, September 18, as they face Fisk University in The Den at 7 p.m. Loyola will also host conference opponents Dalton State and Brenau University on Friday, September 19 and Saturday, September 20 respectively.
