(Montgomery, Ala.) Loyola University New Orleans volleyball fell to Faulkner University (14-8, 4-5 SSAC) on the road in four sets this afternoon 17-25, 12-25, 25-17, 15-25.
Junior Eva Allen led the offense with 11 kills, while sophomore Wren Overesch tallied six on the day. Senior Tiffany Walker, along with freshmen Keyanna Gayden and Shelby Boyd, added five kills apiece. Senior Becca Burnett and sophomore Katie Philippi drove the defensive effort with 21 digs and 20 digs, respectively. Sophomore Daniela Leal contributed 33 assists in the loss.
Junior outside hitter Sarah Dubberley led the Eagles offensively with 13 kills, and senior Brittnay Renfroe added 10. Senior Delricka Anthony compiled 17 digs on the day, while freshman Cassie Bailie finished with 13. Senior setter Morgan Wilson and freshman setter Jordan Jones aided the offense with 25 assists and 21 assists, respectively.
The Wolf Pack (7-11, 3-6 SSAC) will resume play on Wednesday, October 8 as they face cross-town rival SUNO for the second time this season.
