(Mobile, Ala.) Loyola University New Orleans volleyball slipped to Spring Hill College tonight in four tough sets 21-25, 25-23, 22-25, 11-25.
Junior Eva Allen and sophomore Wren Overesch led the Pack offensively, tallying 11 kills and 10 kills respectively. Senior Becca Burnett drove the defensive effort with 25 digs and sophomore setter Daniela Leal added 16. Leal ended the night with 37 assists. The Wolf Pack also compiled seven team blocks in the loss.
Senior Megan Haber and sophomore Molly Griffin headed the Badgers (23-6) on offense, notching 18 kills and 16 kills, respectively. Griffin also led the defensive effort with 21 digs, and redshirt freshman setter Marie Rooks finished the night with 45 assists.
The Wolf Pack (10-16) will resume play on Halloween night, Friday, October 31 at 6 p.m. as they take on conference opponent Belhaven University.
