(New Orleans, La.) The Loyola University New Orleans volleyball team evened up their conference record 1-1 as they fell to the Brenau Golden Tigers in four sets this afternoon 16-25, 25-16, 22-25, 19-25.
Junior Lauren Brand and sophomore Eva Allen boasted double figures in kills for the Wolf Pack (3-9, 1-1 SSAC), recording 12 and 13 respectively. Brand accounted for all three of the team's service aces on the day. Freshman setter Daniela Leal racked up 40 assists and six digs.
Freshman outside hitter Marcella Toups led the offense for the Golden Tigers (4-3, 3-0 SSAC) with 12 kills. Senior Ellen Lemos added 11 and junior Rachel Adam chipped in with 10.
The Wolf Pack will look to earn their next victory as they travel to Xavier University on Wednesday, Sept. 18 for a 7 p.m. start.
