(Mount Vernon, Ga.) The Loyola University New Orleans volleyball team swept Brewton-Parker College 25-16, 25-14, 25-22 at Gillis Gymnasium this afternoon.

The Wolf Pack (6-16, 4-7 SSAC) played exceptionally well in sets one and two, limiting the Barons (2-14, 0-8 SSAC) to points in the teens. Senior Sabrina Stansberry tallied six kills in the first set. She went on to lead the team with 10 total on the afternoon. After five straight Wolf Pack points to reach a score of 17-13, Loyola allowed just four more from Brewton-Parker before closing the set at 25.

Sophomore Kate Hamilton turned in three kills to keep the offense rolling in the second set. She would end the day with eight total. Sophomore Kaitlin Mohr followed close behind with seven kills, three of them coming in set two. The Pack forced a five point rally early on, and would finish the set with two additional four point rallies to help seal the deal.

The Barons posed their biggest threat in set three, but back to back kills from Mohr and freshman Wren Overesch capped the 3-0 victory for the Pack. Freshman Rosalie Keck paced the offense for Brewton-Parker with nine kills. Junior Van Rika Rose added eight.

The Wolf Pack will resume play on Tuesday, Oct. 15 when they visit Belhaven University for a 7 p.m. matchup.
