New Orleans, La.—Spring Hill College scored the last five points of the fifth set to take a 30-28, 17-25, 25-20, 23-25, 15-13 victory over Loyola University New Orleans in volleyball Tuesday night in The Den.
Megan Haber led the Badgers with 27 kills and 4.5 blocks. Sha Sha Buchanan added 24 kills and four blocks. Defensively, Meredith Donald had 32 digs for the visitors. With the win, Spring Hill moved into sole possession of first place in the SSAC. The Badgers are 3-0 in conference and 12-3 overall.
Lauren Brand paced the Wolf Pack with 19 kills and Eva Allen added 18 kills on the evening. Loyola falls to 9-3 and 1-3 in the SSAC.
The Pack returns to action on September 25 against Belhaven in Jackson. Start time is slated for 7 p.m.
