Jackson, Miss. – The Loyola University New Orleans volleyball team defeated LeTorneau University in three 25-15, 25-10, and 25-18 and followed it up with another win against Millsaps College in five sets 18-25, 25-19, 18-25, 25-23, and 15-12 on Saturday.
Against LeTorneau University, Katie Hamilton and Lauren Brand led the offense with eight kills each and Sabrina Stansberry had six. Samantha Worsham recorded four service aces and Becca Burnette added three of her own. Defensively, Burnette tabbed 14 digs and Kaylin Storey had nine. Worsham and Kaitlin Mohr both notched a block at the net.
While facing tournament host Millsaps College, Hamilton and Stansberry led the attack with 13 kills each, while Kailey Tuthill had 10. Stansberry notched two service aces while Tuthill and Worsham tabbed one. In the back court, Burnette recorded 37 digs on the night.
The Wolf Pack will head home to play their final home match of the season on Tuesday against conference opponent Belhaven University for Senior Night. Game time is slated for 7pm in The Den.
