Biography
2023-24 (Senior):
Competed in seven meets this season, including the NAIA National Championship in March… Earned Sun Conference All-Conference honors with a second-place finish in the 100Y Backstroke (58.19), which was a season-best time… At the national meet, she placed ninth in the 100Y Backstroke, 18th in the 200Y Backstroke and 24th in the 50Y Freestyle… Her time in the 200Y Backstroke (2:08.46) at the NAIA meet was a personal-best time… Broke the school record in the 50Y Backstroke (27.06) at the Sun Conference Championship to finish her career with two individual program-best marks… Was also a part of two relay school records at the Sun Conference Championship (200 Freestyle Relay, 1:38.78); 200Y IM Relay, 1:48.76)... Notched personal-best time in the 50Y Freestyle (24.54) at the conference meet.
2022-23 (Junior):
Competed in all eight meets as a junior this season… NAIA All-America (100Y Back)... Placed seventh in the 100-yard Backstroke (57.93), which is a season-best time, and 24th in the 50-yard Freestyle (25.00) at the NAIA National Championships… Took third place in the 100-yard Backstroke (58.14) at the Sun Conference Championships in February… She also had season-best times in the 50-yard Freestyle (24.87) and 50-yard Backstroke (27.51) at the conference meet… Won the 100-yard Backstroke (1:02.09) and placed second in a season-best effort in the 100-yard Freestyle (56.92) at the Hendrix tri-meet in January… Took first place in the 100-yard Backstroke (1:02.51) against Ouachita Baptist in October, then placed second and third in the 100-yard Backstroke (1:03.12) and 50-yard Freestyle (26.57) later that month against Birmingham Southern… Placed third in the 100-yard Backstroke (1:04.19) in the team’s next meet against Millsaps in November.
2021-22 (Sophomore):
Swam in all six meets this season… NAIA All-American (100Y Backstroke)... Mid-South Conference Third Team All-Conference… Mid-South Conference All-Academic… Started her season with a second-place performance in the 50 Yard Freestyle (25.50) against Ouachita Baptist in October… Won the 100 Yard Freestyle (58.13) in the head-to-head against Millsaps a week later… Placed third in the 100 Yard Backstroke (58.70) at the Trinity Invitational in November… Placed first in the 50 Yard Backstroke (28.74) and 100 Yard Backstroke (1:01.75) at the Asbury Invite in January… Also placed second in the 200 Yard Backstroke (2:20.26) at the same meet… Finished third and qualified for nationals at the Mid-South Conference Championships in the 100 Yard Backstroke with a PR time of 57.92… Also had personal-best times in the 50 Yard Freestyle (24.83) and 50 Yard Backstroke (27.25)... Placed seventh nationally in the same race at the NAIA National Championships.
2020-21 (Freshman):
Competed in all three virtual swim meets as a freshman this season… NAIA All-American… Started her Loyola career with a third- and fourth-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle events on Nov. 7… Improved her standing in both events to take second and third place, respectively, Nov. 14-15… Placed second in both events during the team’s final virtual meet of the season Feb. 11-14 with times of 25.42 (50-yard freestyle) and 54.47 (100-yard freestyle), recording a season-best time in the 100-yard race… Also placed second in the 100-yard backstroke during the same meet, recording a personal-best time of 1:00.28.
Pre-Loyola:
Attended Carlton J. Kell High School in Marietta, Ga. … Received the AP Scholar award, Cobb Country All-County Award, Georgia All-State Award, and was a Positive Athlete nominee.
