Kris Seigenthaler joined the Wolf Pack in the fall of 2018 as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator, helping guide Loyola to two NAIA National Tournament berths and an SSAC Championship.

Seigenthaler helped Loyola post its highest winning percentage in a season in program history in 2020-21, as the Wolf Pack won 21 games and lost just two. The Pack earned the SSAC Championship tournament title, and reached the NAIA National Championship tournament for the eighth-straight season.

During the 2019-20 season, Seigenthaler helped lead the Wolf Pack to a 21-7 season and the team’s seventh straight NAIA National Tournament berth. The team saw a group of freshmen, which was Seigenthaler’s first recruiting class, step up during the season, too. Taylor Thomas led the Wolf Pack with 98 assists, while Kate Petrovic started 16 games.

In her first season, the Pack also qualified for their sixth-straight NAIA National Championship tournament. She assisted in coaching Kaila Anthony and Megan Worry to NAIA All-American, All-SSAC First Team, and LSWA honors.

Prior to joining the Loyola coaching staff, Seigenthaler spent two years as the assistant women's basketball coach and recruiting coordinator for Auburn University at Montgomery. She assisted with the school's transition from NAIA to NCAA Division II and the Gulf South Conference after being a member of the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) for 17 years. While with the Warhawks in 2017, she was also recognized by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association on their (WBCA) Thirty Under 30 list.

Before her tenure with Auburn Montgomery, Seigenthaler was an assistant coach at fellow SSAC school Faulkner University for three seasons from 2013-2016. The Eagles achieved as high as a No. 14 ranking in the NAIA during her time as an assistant coach. The team also made the WBCA's list of the top 25 academic programs in the NAIA with Seigenthaler as the personal academic counselor for the student-athletes.

The Tennessee native earned her master's degree from Shorter University, another former SSAC school where she was a graduate assistant with the women's basketball team from 2011-2013. The program reached the Round of 16 in the 2012 NAIA Division I Women's Basketball National Championship before transitioning to NCAA Division II the following year.

Seigenthaler received a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from the University of Montevallo, where she lettered in women's basketball for four years and served as the team captain during her senior season.
