2022-23 (Freshman):

Competed in six meets this season as a freshman… Notched a new personal record in the 200-yard Backstroke (1:56.08) at The Sun Conference Championships in an eighth-place effort… Also had a season-best time in the 50-yard Backstroke (25.00) at the conference meet in February… Recorded personal-best times in the 50-yard Freestyle (22.67) and 100-yard Backstroke (52.70) in a third-place effort at the Tiger Invitational in November… Started his freshman year with two second-place finishes in the 100-yard Backstroke (56.25) and 200-yard Backstroke (2:05.88) at West Florida’s Fall Cross Divisional meet in September… Took second place in the 100-yard Backstroke (56.68) against Ouachita Baptist and in the same event (56.11) against Birmingham Southern in October… Won the 100- (56.59) and 200-yard Backstroke (2:05.67) races at the Hendrix tri-meet in January.

Attended Brandeis High School, where his coach was Megan Perez … He was a four-year varsity letterman … He was a district and regional finalist in backstroke and butterfly stroke in each of his four years of high school … A/B Honor Roll.
