Competed in five meets this season… Ran an 18:19.0 time in the 5-kilometer run at the Battle for New Orleans… Ran a 29:23.06 time in the 8-kilometer race at the SSAC Championships.

Pre-Loyola:
A native of Hammond, Louisiana, he prepped at Saint Thomas Aquinas Regional Catholic High School under coach Miguel Becerra... In high school, he was a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, and Beta Club, while also earning the rank of Eagle Scout.
