Competed in five meets… NAIA Scholar-Athlete… SSAC All-Academic… Ran a season-best 8K time of 32:16.4 at the Loyola Triangular in September.
2025 (Freshman):
Competed in all six meets this season… SSAC Second Team All-Conference… SSAC All-Freshman Team… Placed 11th with a season-best 8K time of 26:47.75 at the SSAC Championship… Finished 10th with an 8K time of 28:26.1 at the Loyola Triangular in September.
Pre-Loyola:
A native of Lafayette, Louisiana, he graduated from St. Thomas More Catholic High School, where he competed under coach Chris Odinet... During his senior year, he helped lead the cross country team to a state runner-up finish.
Personal:
Majoring in neuroscience with a concentration in psychology... Born February 8, 2007... Son of Terrell Savoy and Kodi Mejia... Favorite athlete is Mondo Duplantis... Enjoys running, playing tennis, and doing core workouts... Something that might surprise people is that he loves to read.
