The Loyola University New Orleans has a new leader of the competitive cheer and dance programs, as Director of Athletics Brett Simpson announced the hire of Courtney Cadore as the squads' new head coach in August 2023.Â
Cadore led the competitive cheer team to a fourth-place finish in 2025, totaling a score of 88.4 to record the best score in program history.Â
In Cadore's first season with the Wolf Pack, she led the competitive dance team to the NAIA National Championship for the sixth time in the program's eight seasons. The team played 12th in the NAIA.Â
Cadore joined Loyola with 10 years of experience in cheerleading on the college and professional scenes. With certifications in CDC Concussion in Sports and Cheer & Dance Safety, Cadore adds NAIA experience from being the head cheerleading coach at Dillard University as well.Â

Cadore began her athletics career as a cheerleader at Florida A&M University in 2013. At the same time, she also joined the National Cheerleading Association as an NCA Instructor, a position she currently still holds. After receiving her undergrad degree in 2018, she earned her masters in sport management the following year. While at Florida A&M, Cadore was a competitive team member for four years, named the 2016 Season MVP, was the team captain in 2015-2016 and 2016-2017, and she was named a 2016 MEAC Championl. For her final two years, she spent time on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee as a cheerleader representative.

In December 2018, Cadore joined Professional Management, Inc. as a Family Support Coordinator. While there, she met with individuals, couples and families to assist them. She assisted property managers with tours, prospective tenant information, furniture inventory, and other leasing duties. She also participated in community boards, councils, and advisory groups while representing the company. She maintained records of activities related to Family Engagement.

In 2019, she moved to Maryland to work as a Guest Services Ambassador for the NFL's Baltimore Ravens while she worked at The Board of Child Care as a Recreation Coordinator. At the Ravens, Cadore worked to improve the experience for visitors of M&T Bank Stadium. She also assisted stadium partners and directors with scheduling, marketing, event logistics, and community partner events. At The Board of Child Care, she coordinated, operated, and supervised recreational and athletic programs, and events for youth in Baltimore. Cadore helped develop well-balanced programs for student engagement and recreation.

In 2021, Cadore moved to New Orleans to work at Dillard University as the head cheer coach, then she later added the Assistant to the Athletic Director title six months later. At Dillard, she managed the day-to-day operations of the athletic department. She also oversaw budgets, contracts, facilities, student athlete eligibility, as well as helped coordinate travel arrangements for all current sports teams, staff meetings, and athletic scholarships. Cadore also served as one of the GCAC Dillard University Faculty Academic Representatives for the 2022- 2023 year while serving as the head cheerleading coach for two years, where she led the Dillard Cheerleading team to their first history NAIA competitive cheer win while maintaining budgets, fundraising, choreographing basketball, volleyball and competition routines both seasons.

Cadore joined the New Orleans Saints on the Saints Cheer Krewe in July 2021, and she's set for her third season with the team this fall. It will also be her second season as the team captain, and she was named to the 2022-23 Saints Cheer Krewe Veteran of the Year.Â
