A native of Harvey, Louisiana, he graduated from De La Salle High School, where he cheered under coach Peyton Rivet.

Majoring in chemistry... Born October 5, 2007... Son of Hilda Alvarez and Ruth Merrell Santana... Enjoys roller skating... Something that might surprise people is back tuck/being a cheerleader.
