2023-24 (5th):
Competed in all 10 tournaments during her final season with the Wolf Pack… SSAC All-Conference Second Team… Recorded four Top 10 finishes and three Top 5s this season… Finished her career with the third-most Top 5s (11) and Top 10s (20)... Placed third at the 54-hole SSAC Championship (+4) in April to earn All-Tournament Team honors… Her second-round 71 (-1) at the conference tournament is tied for the 10th-best round in program history… Placed tied for 41st at the 72-hole NAIA National Championship (+29) in May to close out her career… Started the season with a fourth-place finish at the Firehawk Invite (-1) in September, as her 143 total score was a program-best mark for a 36-hole tournament… She ends her Loyola career with the 36- and 54-hole school records… Her first-round 71 (-1) at the Firehawk Invite is also tied for the 10th-best round in program history… Smithers would also place third at the Ram Spring Invite (+11) in February and sixth at the Wolf Pack Spring Invitational (+18) in April.
2022-23 (Senior):
Competed in all nine tournaments this season… SSAC All-Conference Second Team… Recorded two Top 5s and four Top 10s as a senior this season… Ended the season ranked 77th in the NAIA in the Golfstat.com rankings with a 77.88 adjusted scoring average… Started the year with a seventh-place finish at the Carey Collegiate in September with a three-round total of 225 (+9), which is tied for the 10th-best score in program history... Went 1-1-1 at the Faulkner Eagle Match Play Invitational to help the team to a second-place finish… Finished tied for third at the WCU Gulf Shores Invitational in October with a two-round score of 153 (+9)... Took seventh place in February’s Ram Spring Invite, carding a two-round 152 (+8)... Had her best finish of the season at the SSAC Championship, taking third place after shooting a 221 (+5) over the course of the three rounds… Her conference tournament score of 221 was the seventh-best 54-hole score in program history… Finished 57th (+39) at the NAIA National Championship, which is the best finish of her Loyola career.
2021-22 (Junior):
Competed in all nine tournaments as a junior this season… SSAC All-Conference Team… Notched five Top 10s and three Top 5 finishes this season… Finished tied for 58th at the NAIA National Championship with a +15 three-round score, including a third-round score of 73… Started the season with a ninth-place finish at the Invite at Innisbrook in September, shooting a 233 (+14) score during the three rounds… Had a season-best second-place performance in the next tournament, carding a three-round total of 214 (-2), including a first-round score of 68, at the Firehawk Invitational… Placed tied for fifth at the SSAC Fall Preview (237, +21)... Started the spring schedule with a sixth-place finish at the Ram Invitational (150, +8) in February… Finished fifth at the MUW Spring Invitational after carding a two-round score of 152 (+8)... Placed 15th at the SSAC Championship with a 242 (+26) score.
2020-21 (Sophomore):
Competed in eight of the nine tournaments as a sophomore this season… SSAC All-Conference First Team… Recorded three Top 10 finishes this season… Started her season with a fifth-place finish at the Ram Fall Invite in October with rounds of 75 and 82 (+13, 157)... Followed that up with 10th place at the Carey Fall Invite, also in October, carding a 76 and an 81… Placed 10th at the Wolf Pack Invitational in March, shooting back-to-back rounds of 78 (+12, 156)... Recorded a 12th-place finish at the SSAC Championship in April with rounds of 82, 77 and 78 (+21, 237)... Finished the NAIA National Championship in 83rd place with a four-round score of 321 (+33).
2019-20 (Freshman):
SSAC All-Conference First Team… SSAC All-Freshman Team… Played in all six tournaments as a freshman… Earned four Top 10 finishes… Recorded a season-best +7 (149) in her Loyola debut at the SCAD Atlanta Fall Invitational in September, finishing in ninth place… Her season-best finish of third came at the Georgetown College Gulf Shores Invitational in March, carding a +9 (153)... Finished fifth at the Martin Methodist RedHawk Invitational in October with a +12 (156) score… Carded a 154 (+10) to finish 10th overall in February at the Coastal Georgia Winter Invite… Placed tied for 27th and tied for 28th at the Carey Collegiate Classic and Dalton State Roadrunner Invitational, respectively.
Pre-Loyola:
Golfed at South Jones High School under coach Koby Easterling … At the Class 5A Mississippi High School State Championship, claimed the team championship and was the individual medalist … Named Mississippi Junior Golf Association 2017 Player of the Year … First Team All-State and four-time district champion.
