MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Southern States Athletic Conference handed out its last round of men's basketball weekly awards on Monday, and junior Kameron Johnson picked up his third SSAC Offensive Player of the Week honor.Â

Johnson and the Wolf Pack finished the regular season with wins over Blue Mountain Christian (Miss.) and Tennessee Southern in The Den last Thursday and Saturday, moving their record to 22-6 overall and 14-4 in SSAC play.Â

Johnson started the week with a 27-point performance in a 30-point win over the Toppers on Thursday. He added seven rebounds and seven assists to go along with his 77 percent shooting performance. He added four 3-pointers and two steals. On Saturday, the New Orleans native led the Wolf Pack with 21 points and 11 assists for his third double-double of the season. He pulled down four rebounds as well and shot 75 percent from the field.Â

The junior guard leads the team in scoring (18.2 ppg), steals (52), and a school-record 179 assists this season, adding 4.5 rebounds per game. He leads the league in assists and is third in the SSAC in scoring.Â

Loyola earned the West No. 3 seed in this week's SSAC Championship, and it'll play the East No. 2 seed Life University at 9:45 p.m. in the quarterfinals on Thursday.Â
